Last week the kids & I went on a little hike with the Relief Society here.  They had lots of fun going up and down hills, playing on the playground, and looking for crawfish.   : D  Now the ladies didn't tell me that it was a hike to this playground so I came totally unprepared-- worst thing is that I didn't have water.  --let's just say I sweat my fair share--

The fun playground we hiked to

Tiny crawfish!  You have to pick up the rocks in the stream and you'll find them.

Throwing rocks in the stream of course ;)

We also enjoyed some time on Ilsan beach, a 5 minute drive from our home.  The water was absolutely beautiful but FREEZING cold.  We put our feet in and that was about it!  We built sandcastles, had a picnic lunch and just enjoyed some nice family time.

FREEZING!

Daddy was helping them build and "aquarium"--we brought some toy sea creatures

Catch of the day!

We are really enjoying our time here in Korea.  It's different being a country where you can't read most anything and can't speak the language but we are certainly thriving here.  Now don't get me wrong, there are many things that I miss about America--but Korea is definitely better than I imagined it would.  If any of you have any questions about life here or anything else--just comment :) I'd be happy to answer them.
